My Teaching Work at RHS Garden Harlow Carr

In 2015 the Education and Learning Manager at The Royal Horticultural Society Garden Harlow Carr asked if I would write an introductory garden design course, to be delivered at the gardens. Of course I was delighted and prepared and delivered the six day Introduction to Garden Design which currently runs twice a year at the wonderful Bramall Learning Centre (pictured above), RHS Garden Harlow Carr, Harrogate. The course has gone from strength to strength and in 2019 I wrote and delivered a four day follow on course called Forging Ahead with Garden Design. The courses are aimed at adults who wish to design their own gardens, or as a taster course for anyone thinking of a career in garden design.  The courses are designed to instil an in depth understanding of garden design and get you in touch with your creativity. They are intensive and tons of fun! If you are interested in finding out more please contact me.

Teaching garden design in short happy bursts at the RHS gardens keeps my real life garden design work fresh, creative, and in step with ever changing best practices within the horticultural and landscape industries.
